Custom Theme Development for Shopify Plus storefront. Multiple hand-made features replacing previously paid apps, saving the company over 50.000 € annually in app fees. Some features that stand out: blended store for D2C/B2B, smart search & filter capabilities, free-gift in cart, upsells, split-variant handling, sales-mode, and many others that can be easily turned on/off directly in Shopify Editor.
Returns Management System
Internal, exclusive custom shopify app built with Remix and Shopify Extensions, handling thousands of monthly return requests. Customers can submit returns/exchange/cancellation requests directly from their customer account area (guest orders also have secure, direct access). Automated shipping labels, exchange, cancellations and refunds. The app also provides an interface in Shopify Admin for full visibility and control.
Neosupps GmbH
Custom Theme Development for Shopify Plus storefront. Features include blended D2C/B2B storefront, free-gift logic, sales modes, and several apps replaced with owned code. Highlight: a metafield-driven product grouping engine that maintains the ERP’s single-product catalog while delivering a variant-like shopping experience across collection and product pages, solving a critical business data constraint without disrupting other sales channels.

2024 — PresentArchitecting and leading the digital ecosystem for two major German D2C brands at enterprise scale. Owning the full engineering lifecycle across Shopify Plus storefronts, internal tools, and custom apps. Delivering high-performance solutions, replacing paid apps with owned systems, and implementing mission-critical features across both brands. Modernized legacy codebases, unified processes across departments, and improved customer support workflows and reliability throughout the stack. Introduced the company’s first AI-Agent for the support system, achieving up to 60% automation during peak sales periods. Additional achievements include deploying Shopify POS systems for major events such as FIBO 2024 and 2025, and building custom app extensions for large-scale returns automation.
